My husband is a slob, but I still love him.....

My husband is an unsufferable slob. It is all I can do to keep up with kids, but he has to add to the problem in my room. In his defense, he does help around the rest of the house quite a bit, but this is a total peeve of mine. I walk into my room and I feel totally defeated. This is what my room looks like when he is in charge of it. Every wonder what he has worn the last few days? Just look around his side of the bed and you will have to wonder no more.....

And then there are the kid's rooms. I took an entire day cleaning out the toy boxes and organizing toys. Wonder what their rooms look like the next day when I had to work? Well, wonder no more....

And let's not forget when they took out every blanket and sheet and piled them in the middle of my room.... I came home at 3AM to find this little surprise....

Heaven help me, I certainly need it,.... AND a maid..

That's so funny and yet so sad because every woman feels it also...but guess what, I AM having a maid come over!!! :) At least I can enjoy clean for a day or two. It sure doesn't take long for the mess to emerge!

If it is just going to look like that tomorrow, why not wait 'til then to clean it???

At least your bedrooms are upstairs, so no company has any reason to go in your bedroom. I hate that mine is off the kitchen. Every time my MIL comes over, she always flips on my bedroom light and looks around, then says, "You're room is so cute." I don't know if she really thinks my room's cute or is just looking to see how clean it is when she stops by unannounced. :)

I want the maid!! One day I will have one. And the trouble is, my downstairs is usally messy, too. You cannot walk into my house without seeing my messy kitchen. I live for the day when I clean my house and when I return home, it looks just like it did when I left it. I wish that would happen before everyone else moves on, and they learn to clean up after themselves. At least my MIL doesn't care what my house looks like, or at least I don't think she does. :)

You should just make it a rule that your children clean up all of their toys every night.
They are all big enough to clean their own rooms...
I am making mine
